JAMIE CLAUSS | Owner + Portrait Artist
A business owner to the core, Jamie has always loved finding valuable ways to serve her community. With a deep appreciation and love of the visual arts, photography was a natural step for her. She particularly loves creating portraits that showcase a child's personality and spirit. With the culture shift towards hoarding images on hard drives, Jamie saw a need for true customer service and quality artwork in the industry and works tirelessly to offer the highest quality heirloom pieces to her clients.
When she's not working, she's traveling, spending time with her family and friends, re-watching The Office, or getting out in the North Alabama community.
"My story is all too common in this generation of motherhood. I was a mom with a camera and thought I was more than capable of photographing my own baby. A few barely acceptable images later, time slipped away with no quality images of myself and my baby in those early days. It breaks my heart to know that many of those moments and little details are lost. So, I'm always so thankful to serve families deep in the beautiful craziness of parenthood and provide them with moments and images that will last through the generations."

A longtime business partner of Jamie's on various projects, Jan serves Count It Joy clients through her incredible knack for posing and portrait creation. With a background in boudoir portraiture, Jan knows how to accentuate each body type so our clients look and feel amazing.
JENNIFER STILWELL | Studio Assistant
As the Studio Assistant, Jennifer is an integral part of the Count It Joy team. From coordinating our marketing efforts to processing client orders, Jennifer makes a lot of the magic happen around here.
