Eli is Adopted! | Huntsville, AL Family Photographer

This family was an absolute blast to work with!  Like so many of my clients, they made me remember why I love family photography.  I walked away having used muscles I didn't know existed, sweating profusely, and smiling. :D  These three boys gave me a run for my money!  We had such a great location that the family frequents just north of Huntsville AL.  They're quite fond of the dirt, mud, and frogs that can be found there, apparently! Sweet Eli had recently been officially adopted into their family through the foster care system after years of waiting. I was so incredibly honored to take their family photos. Adoption is such an amazing gift from the Lord, and it deserves quite the celebration! Thank you again and again and again, Eli and family, for letting me take part in this blessed event!  I'm so excited for you all, and I hope you remember these wonderful, crazy days and the love you have for one another whenever you see these images.  :)

Family Portraits Cincinnati OH | Shelley & Austin

I'm so lucky to call these sweet people friends.  Shelley and I have been friends since high school, and I'm just so thankful we've kept in touch all these years.  I had such a fun time taking their family portraits. Cincinnati OH is so beautiful in the spring and summer.   Aren't these trees to die for?  I especially loved the one in the first picture.  So much character and history in its branches.  I always love doing a few sessions when I'm up there.  :)  Different locations, different weather, new people - I love it!  As you can see, Austin put on such a brave face for picture day.  I was so proud.  ;)  But seriously, I couldn't have been happier to do their family pictures.  They're just so stinkin' beautiful!  I just can't wait to do more! Shelley and Austin, your sweet puppy, Rosco MUST come with you next time.  He's so cute, and I can just tell he's going to be quite the model.  ;)

Josh + Rachel | Maternity Photos Huntsville, AL

I seriously couldn't be happier for the sweet people.  They are such dear friends, and I was so blessed to take these maternity photos for them.  We found a beautiful fall field near their home in Huntsville AL.  The wheat was tall and so beautiful.  And look at that sun!  Maternity photos are always so special.  It's such a miracle to watch a family bring new life into this world.  I know that all their friends and family are praising the Lord for this long awaited baby girl! :)  We can't wait to meet her and watch her grow!  She will be such a blessed little girl.

Josh and Rachel, we are rejoicing with you on this journey of parenthood.  It will be tough and absolutely worth every second.  I know baby Kate will bring you joy beyond what you could ever imagine.  You're going to be amazing parents.  Congratulations for the hundredth time, and thank you so much for letting me be even a small part in this exciting time in your lives.  :)

Maddie + Keegan | Huntsville, AL Family Photographer

Maddie and Keegan are the kind of kids that remind me why I love being a family photographer in Huntsville, AL. They were SO much fun. They kept me on my toes and I was sweating just 10 minutes into our photo shoot!  We had about 27 races during our session, but they also have the sweetest sides to them.  They just shine, and I love seeing how much they love each other in these images.  I also love their adorable cowboy boots.  They just worked so well at our location!  We found this gorgeous field full of yellow flowers in Huntsville, Alabama. Isn't it beautiful?!  Beautiful kids, beautiful field, beautiful weather = amazing shoot!  Thanks for such a fun day, Maddie and Keegan! I can't wait to run around like crazy with you two again! Maybe next time we'll get Mom and Dad in front of the camera? ;)

I always shoot in such gorgeous fields, but I never know what I'm looking at. Can anyone tell me what kind of yellow flower (or weed) this is? :)

The Vega Family's Yellow-Field Session | Maternity Photographer Huntsville, AL

This family is so dear to me! I was so honored to do their VERY last minute maternity photos. :) I CANNOT get over this beautiful field. It was such a special afternoon in general. Happy family, beautiful momma and little girl, beautiful field, beautiful sun. It was just perfect. Also, check out their video below. I love how video can capture different aspects of similar moments than photography. I've definitely grown to appreciate videography a lot more lately than I ever have before. Hope you all enjoy!

The Meyer Family on the Reservoir | Midlothian, VA Family Photography

I had the absolute honor of doing some family portraits for my beautiful family while I was visiting them in Richmond, VA. They live on a BEAUTIFUL reservoir in Midlothian, so they took me around to some local spots with gorgeous views. After their family session, I stole my cousin for some singles of her and her amazing sundress! I LOVE my trips to Virginia - I think you can see why! :D And, of course, my adorable, messy-faced assistant. ;)

Dimples Galore | Family Photographer Huntsville, AL

You know what's amazing? This family. :) And their dimples. LOVE them, don't you?! They're doing the coolest thing with their images, too. They've made a barn wood board as a large wall covering to mount their large canvases on! I'm SO excited to see it come together. It was soooo fun to help them with such a great project! I'll be sure to post when it's finished.

Seriously. It's so wonderful to have clients that value me as an artist and display my work in the homes. I really couldn't ask for a better job or better clients. Thank you all!

Happy Little Family | Family Photography, Huntsville, AL

Yes, yes, this IS the happiest little pup you've ever seen. :) Love this family so much. I'm so blessed to get to take their pictures... They just moved into a new house in Huntsville, AL and wanted a little shoot in front of their Huntsville home. What a pretty yard, huh?!

What a great idea, though, right?! It's always those little details that we love to look back at and remember in photographs, isn't it? The car we had, the house we lived in, the nursery you lovingly designed, and the table at which you shared all your meals.  Such precious memories...

Birthday Boy | Child + Family Photography, Huntsville, AL

Grayson is just the sweetest little guy. He was so reserved at first, checking out everything, taking it all in. But, once he warmed up, he was all boy! He LOVED making such silly little faces! I had sooo much fun! :) His momma wanted to get some cute photos made for his upcoming birthday party, and I think they got some gorgeous family images in the process.
