Saying Goodbye to Mama
I'm beyond humbled and thankful that my sweet friend, Aly, would invite me into her home and family during such a tender time as they say, "goodbye" to her momma. I hope these images will help in your healing and bring others to your beautiful testimony of God's love and faithfulness. Brandon's Professional Headshots | Huntsville, AL Portrait Photographer
To celebrate his recent graduation and entrance into the professional work, Brandon wanted some modern, natural headshots and portraits. It was such a fun session! The earliest, and shortest shoot I've ever done, and a home run, if you ask me. Brandon went along with all my ideas, and completely rocked it. Congratulations on this new and exciting season of life! Also, make sure you scroll to the bottom for a special... treat? ;) Haha.
Baby Ivy | Huntsville AL Newborn Photography
I am smitten with this little girl and her gorgeous hair! I just can't get enough of her newborn portraits. We did them in the studio, but kept a lifestyle feel to them that just let her little personality shine. I just loooove it. :) Not kidding, I started to tear up when I was shooting those last images of her in all white. Baby fever, anyone?! :D

Isaac's 2 Year Video | Huntsville, AL Family Videography
I'm so thankful that I was able to take some time over the holidays to leave Huntsville, visit and enjoy my family, and even work on a couple personal projects that I've been wanting to do for some time. Isaac had a great Christmas with both families, and we made sure to keep super safe and kept our helmets on. ;) We also took a little trip to the Cincinnati Museum Center's Train Display at Union Terminal. Isaac LOVED the trains (photos below). Anyway, here's one of those projects of mine as I dabble in videography - a sweet little video of my baby boy - that I wanted to share with you all.
Thanks for watching! Isaac and I had so much fun just jumping on the bed and playing with our (broken) motorcycle and we hope you enjoyed! :) I'm looking forward to making more videos like this when I find the time and opportunities. I'm really loving videography, and I'd love to make one that showcases more of his love of music. Stay tuned, and check out the amazing musician, Mindy Gledhill, at the link below! :)

Baby Zoey | Athens, AL Newborn Photographer
Love proper miss Zoey with her little pinky sticking up. :) What a sweet little girl she is. Have I mentioned how much I love newborn photography? Oh, ok - well, I LOVE being a newborn photographer!!! :D And, it was totally worth the loooong drive to Madison AL. ;) We actually did the shoot in the master bathroom of Zoey's family's home. I do most newborn sessions in my home studio in Huntsville, but with Zoey's momma recovering from a tough labor and delivery, I made the trip and did the session in their new home in Madison. It's always fun to see where the good lighting is in a home. Sometimes you just never know! :) Zoey was such a sweet, sleepy model. Honestly, I think she really enjoyed her time to herself, away from her adorably crazy siblings. Hehe I'm so thankful to be a part of this little girl's life, and I cannot wait to take her photos at every step of the way. I'm especially looking forward to the challenge - I mean, opportunity - of doing family portraits of four children under the age of five! ;) Y'all, I'm so seriously blessed to have this job. I know every photographer in the world says it, but we all mean it. Every word. :)
Melissa + Jake | Maternity Photographer Mooresville, AL
I'm so thankful to have such amazing clients like Melissa and Jake. We had so much fun shooting their maternity photographs. They turned out beautifully. I loved including the ivy details into the shoot, since this sweet baby girl's name is Ivy Wren. :) I'm so excited to meet her and do her newborn photos! Check out Melissa's adorable blog: Our Sweet Abode. And, are you looking for an amazing interior designer? If so, check out her design blog: Ador by Melissa.

Baby Hank's Lifestyle Session | Huntsville, AL Newborn Photography
Little Hank was so sweet and well-behaved at his newborn photography session! He's a natural! His funny faces and little personality just make me want to squish his cheeks every time I look at these photos. :) One of the most precious parts of this session is that we were able to include baby blankets from both sides of Hank's family. I LOVE it when family's bring such treasured items to add to the meaning behind the portraits. We did the photo session at my home studio in Huntsville AL. It was my first time using the blue room, and it was so sweet and perfect for a baby boy. :) I'm so excited to do more sessions there and see more of what I can do with it. It's so fun to play around with different lighting sources and situations to produce unique memories for my clients.
Adrienne and Anthony, thank you again for the opportunity! Can't wait for his six-month photos. :)
Stephanie's Light-Filled Senior Portraits | Huntsville, AL Senior Photographer
Gosh, this girl is seriously beautiful! I was so thrilled to take Stephanie's senior portraits at this sweet little spot in Huntsville AL. What a fun and special time in life! The sun was perfectly, well, sunny for our session. And, Miss Stephanie was so adventurous. I had her walking across logs, hopping in the creek, climbing rocks - anything to get the right shot. She was such a trooper. I think she actually wanted to get dirty! :) Stephanie, you're such a sweet young lady and you can rock a sunhat like a star. I know you're going to do big things and touch a lot of lives in the years to come. You're amazing with kids, and you have such a big heart. Congratulations on a great start to your senior year! I hope it's full of great memories and lots of laughs. :D Remember us when you're out changing the world!
Eli is Adopted! | Huntsville, AL Family Photographer
This family was an absolute blast to work with! Like so many of my clients, they made me remember why I love family photography. I walked away having used muscles I didn't know existed, sweating profusely, and smiling. :D These three boys gave me a run for my money! We had such a great location that the family frequents just north of Huntsville AL. They're quite fond of the dirt, mud, and frogs that can be found there, apparently! Sweet Eli had recently been officially adopted into their family through the foster care system after years of waiting. I was so incredibly honored to take their family photos. Adoption is such an amazing gift from the Lord, and it deserves quite the celebration! Thank you again and again and again, Eli and family, for letting me take part in this blessed event! I'm so excited for you all, and I hope you remember these wonderful, crazy days and the love you have for one another whenever you see these images. :)
Family Portraits Cincinnati OH | Shelley & Austin
I'm so lucky to call these sweet people friends. Shelley and I have been friends since high school, and I'm just so thankful we've kept in touch all these years. I had such a fun time taking their family portraits. Cincinnati OH is so beautiful in the spring and summer. Aren't these trees to die for? I especially loved the one in the first picture. So much character and history in its branches. I always love doing a few sessions when I'm up there. :) Different locations, different weather, new people - I love it! As you can see, Austin put on such a brave face for picture day. I was so proud. ;) But seriously, I couldn't have been happier to do their family pictures. They're just so stinkin' beautiful! I just can't wait to do more! Shelley and Austin, your sweet puppy, Rosco MUST come with you next time. He's so cute, and I can just tell he's going to be quite the model. ;)

Josh + Rachel | Maternity Photos Huntsville, AL
I seriously couldn't be happier for the sweet people. They are such dear friends, and I was so blessed to take these maternity photos for them. We found a beautiful fall field near their home in Huntsville AL. The wheat was tall and so beautiful. And look at that sun! Maternity photos are always so special. It's such a miracle to watch a family bring new life into this world. I know that all their friends and family are praising the Lord for this long awaited baby girl! :) We can't wait to meet her and watch her grow! She will be such a blessed little girl.
Josh and Rachel, we are rejoicing with you on this journey of parenthood. It will be tough and absolutely worth every second. I know baby Kate will bring you joy beyond what you could ever imagine. You're going to be amazing parents. Congratulations for the hundredth time, and thank you so much for letting me be even a small part in this exciting time in your lives. :)
Maddie + Keegan | Huntsville, AL Family Photographer
Maddie and Keegan are the kind of kids that remind me why I love being a family photographer in Huntsville, AL. They were SO much fun. They kept me on my toes and I was sweating just 10 minutes into our photo shoot! We had about 27 races during our session, but they also have the sweetest sides to them. They just shine, and I love seeing how much they love each other in these images. I also love their adorable cowboy boots. They just worked so well at our location! We found this gorgeous field full of yellow flowers in Huntsville, Alabama. Isn't it beautiful?! Beautiful kids, beautiful field, beautiful weather = amazing shoot! Thanks for such a fun day, Maddie and Keegan! I can't wait to run around like crazy with you two again! Maybe next time we'll get Mom and Dad in front of the camera? ;)
I always shoot in such gorgeous fields, but I never know what I'm looking at. Can anyone tell me what kind of yellow flower (or weed) this is? :)
The Vega Family's Yellow-Field Session | Maternity Photographer Huntsville, AL
This family is so dear to me! I was so honored to do their VERY last minute maternity photos. :) I CANNOT get over this beautiful field. It was such a special afternoon in general. Happy family, beautiful momma and little girl, beautiful field, beautiful sun. It was just perfect. Also, check out their video below. I love how video can capture different aspects of similar moments than photography. I've definitely grown to appreciate videography a lot more lately than I ever have before. Hope you all enjoy!

The Meyer Family on the Reservoir | Midlothian, VA Family Photography
I had the absolute honor of doing some family portraits for my beautiful family while I was visiting them in Richmond, VA. They live on a BEAUTIFUL reservoir in Midlothian, so they took me around to some local spots with gorgeous views. After their family session, I stole my cousin for some singles of her and her amazing sundress! I LOVE my trips to Virginia - I think you can see why! :D And, of course, my adorable, messy-faced assistant. ;)

Lifestyle Photography Huntsville AL | Bapple
I know, such funny faces! The top one is mid-chew and the bottom one reminds me of, 1) how much he really loves apples and 2) how much bigger that apple is for him than it is for me! :) This is just another reason why I adore lifestyle photography. Things that you wouldn't even remember without photographs become heirlooms and art.
Some day, these photos will be the only toddler we have in the house. How blessed I will be to look at them and remember the time in his life where he would dance after he had a bite of an apple, a time when he called it a "bapple", a time when he would purposefully call a peach a "bapple" just to make me say, "Nooooo! It's not an apple, it's a peach!" and tickle him silly.
Dimples Galore | Family Photographer Huntsville, AL
You know what's amazing? This family. :) And their dimples. LOVE them, don't you?! They're doing the coolest thing with their images, too. They've made a barn wood board as a large wall covering to mount their large canvases on! I'm SO excited to see it come together. It was soooo fun to help them with such a great project! I'll be sure to post when it's finished.
Seriously. It's so wonderful to have clients that value me as an artist and display my work in the homes. I really couldn't ask for a better job or better clients. Thank you all!
